How it is calculated

Uplift = (variant B conversion − variant A conversion) ÷ variant A conversion × 100%. This is the relative increase in conversion for the test variant compared to control, not a difference in percentage points — the same formula as the general ad campaign uplift calculator, applied specifically to an A/B test pair.

A positive uplift alone doesn't mean the result is reliable — it only shows the direction and size of the observed difference. Before acting on a test, check whether the uplift is statistically significant using the separate A/B test statistical significance calculator.

If the test hasn't launched yet and you need to know how many observations it takes to reliably detect a desired uplift, use the separate A/B test sample size calculator before collecting data, not uplift after.
