Sales funnel conversion calculator

Add the funnel's stages in order — from the very top to the final one — and the count that reached each stage. The calculator works out conversion between adjacent stages and the overall conversion from first to last.

How it is calculated

Conversion between adjacent stages = count at the next stage ÷ count at the previous stage × 100% — computed separately for each pair of neighboring stages. Overall conversion = count at the last stage ÷ count at the first stage × 100%.

Unlike computing conversion from just two points (e.g. 'traffic → sales'), a stage-by-stage funnel shows exactly where the most people are lost — a low overall conversion can come from one bottleneck rather than even losses at every step.

Stage order matters: enter stages strictly from the widest (top of funnel) to the narrowest (bottom of funnel) — if a stage's count ends up higher than the one before it, conversion between them exceeds 100%, which usually signals a data or ordering mistake.
