How it is calculated

Current allowance percentage = min(starting percentage + growth step × steps completed, maximum percentage), where steps completed = the integer part of (tenure in the North ÷ months per step).

Allowance amount = salary × current percentage ÷ 100.

The starting percentage, step, period and maximum vary widely by Far North district, equivalent area, and the employee's age (accelerated rules apply under 30) — that's exactly why every parameter is a field; enter the values for your specific case.
