How it is calculated

Monthly compensation = internet cost × business use share ÷ 100. Annual compensation = monthly compensation × 12.

The basis is the same as for personal phone compensation (Russian Labor Code Art. 188): compensation for using an employee's personal property (here, a home internet connection) is set by written agreement.

Fully remote employees are often compensated 100% of their internet cost as a necessary work tool — but that's still a matter of agreement, not a default mandatory percentage.
